After what has been a busy year filled with photography trips to some rather special locations I have finally been able to get my web site up and running.

With trips to Norfolk Island, Flinders Island and the USA, time has been a little short for keeping the blog up to date.
In the coming weeks I plan to bring a few of the more special images into view. The USA trip last October/November was to the Colorado Plateau and included some amazing scenery in the National Parks of Zion, Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands, Mesa Verde, Monument Valley and The Grand Canyon.

As it happens I am about to embark on another 3 week photographic adventure to the USA. This time it is to the National Parks of California and featuring Yosemite and the High Sierra region.

Living by the seaside in Melbourne has it's advantages for someone that enjoys the challenge of capturing the moment with camera in hand. This image was taken at Rickett's Point Marine Park, Beaumaris and depicts the navigational mark located on the rocky outcrop at sunset.
